In Te Maunga this week we learnt about science. We learnt about Rocket Science, Water Science, and Vision Science. We got into 3 groups and our group did Rocket science first. We learnt how the rockets will blast off and what made them blast off. The main thing was air pressure and that was what made the bottle fly off. Next we learnt about what water is good or not because some water can contain chemicals and it would have colour for it to have poison. They said that we would not want to drink red tea, teal water and yellow water because they had chemicals. Next we learnt about vision. We had to put a disc in a diagonal cut in a box and then there was a little strip on the opposite side of the box and if we looked through we would see a rainbow glistening off the disc. We got these glasses and when we put them on we would see every color.
